Brighter Visions & 1st Cabinet Meeting

Greetings Lions,

I would like to thank everyone that came out to the Awards and Installation banquet.  The Lions that were in attendance got to enjoy good food and great fellowship with their fellow lions.  While not only supporting the lions that received awards but also encouraging the lions that have taken on new roles in the district and being sworn in.  Thanks again for coming out and supporting your fellow Lions.

A quote by our 33rdPresident of the United States, Harry S. Truman “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.”  This quote should fit into the lives of every Lion. As Lions, we should strive to go out and improve the communities that we live and work in every day and not worry about the credit.

I can not wait to see all of the Lions of district 31N come out on August 17 and support our Brighter Visions.  I would like every Lion to take time over the next few weeks to make an effort to speak with a VIP that went to camp this summer at Camp Dogwood.  If you will take time to speak with a Camper, you will see what an impact Camp Dogwood has on our VIP Friends.  That is why I am asking for you and your club to step up this year and show your support to our Brighter Visions Kickoff.  Our minimum goal this year is that every club donate at least $115.00 per member.  This goal of $115.00 per member is just the starting point, NC Lions needs our help and I hope that clubs will continue to support them by going above and beyond what has been set.
