Nomination Form and Requirements

Nominations are now being accepted for outstanding Lions to be considered for induction into the North Carolina Lions Hall of Fame.

Purpose: The mission of the Hall of Fame is to honor in perpetuity those Lions whose contributions to Lions in North Carolina have been of great value.

Criteria: Nominees may be living or deceased. Their contribution(s) should be of an enduring value and of major importance to furthering the goals of Lionism in North Carolina. For deceased Lion nominations, the member must have been deceased a minimum of five years before being eligible for consideration.

Instructions: Any Lion may recommend someone for the Hall of Fame. However, only the current District Governor can actually nominate a fellow Lion for the NC Lions Hall of Fame. Complete the attached Recommendation Form (hof.form.8.3.26) and submit to the District Hall of Fame Chair prior to forwarding to the District Governor.
